The New Pula General Hospital Opened
The new Pula General Hospital was officially opened on 28 October 2022. The project worth almost HRK 800 million included the construction and equipping of the hospital with the most modern medical equipment, as well as the complete renovation of the old building. Construction works started in January 2015, and the hospital has been partially used for the the last two years.
The total investment amounts to HRK 796.2 million, VAT included, of which the amount of HRK 746.4 million has been provided by the commercial bank and HBOR, HRK 34.4 million from the European Union grants, HRK 11.3 million from decentralised financial resources, HRK 2.7 million from donation funds, and HRK 1.4 million from the funds of Istria County.
We are glad that with our participation in this investment we contributed to the realisation of the project, by which Istria got a new, modern and superbly equipped general hospital.
