HBOR About Private Equity Funds
Private equity is a form of equity investment in companies with active participation in the operations of the entity in which the investment was made. Private equity funds aim to improve the operations of the companies in which they invest by strengthening management competencies, introducing operational improvements and helping companies to enter new markets.

The private equity market in Croatia has been developing for the last 15 years and becomes an alternative to standard sources of financing the companies.

However, despite significant progress, Croatia lags behind other European countries in this financial industry, which means that there is a great potential for further growth and development.

HBOR continuously contributes to the development of alternative supply of funding and has been actively promoting the development of alternative financing for entrepreneurs for several years with the support of the European Investment Fund.
