20.10.2026.
Companies planning growth, new investments or business expansion can now, with the support of experts, assess free of charge how prepared they are to raise funding through the capital market. Hanfa and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Croatia have opened applications for PutNaTržište, an educational and simulation-based sandbox in which companies receive an objective assessment of their readiness for various forms of financing, including venture capital and private equity (VC/PE) investment, bond issuance or listing on the stock exchange through an initial public offering (IPO). Applications are accepted from 20 October to 5 December 2026.
The programme is intended for companies of various sizes and stages of development, especially those planning further growth, new investments or business expansion, and who wish to better understand the financing options available to them. In addition to companies considering listing on the stock exchange, the programme is also designed for enterprises seeking growth capital, considering a partner for the next phase of development or facing generational transition issues. Depending on their needs and plans, companies can consider different options, such as venture capital and private equity funds, bonds, the Progress Market or other finance and growth models.
Participation does not entail any obligation to complete a transaction or access the capital market. Instead, it provides companies with an opportunity to receive an objective and professional external assessment before making important business decisions, helping them gain a clearer understanding of their options.
What do companies gain from participating?
Following the application process and an initial assessment, each company is assigned a personalised team of expert partners, including at least one financial and one legal professional.
Through meetings, discussions and a review of business documentation, various aspects of the company’s operations are assessed, including its business model, financial indicators, capital structure, growth sustainability, organisational and governance capacities, and strategic and investment plans.
The outcome of the process is a structured diagnostic report containing an assessment of the company’s readiness for specific financing options, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for possible further steps.
Participation in the programme is completely free of charge, confidential and non-binding.
A network of more than 50 partners
PutNaTržište project brings together a broad network of experts and institutions from the fields of finance, investment, law, audit, consultancy and other areas relevant to the capital market. The programme currently includes 51 partners, among them institutions such as the Ministry of Finance, the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the Croatian Banking Association and the Croatian Employers’ Association as well as numerous expert partners from the private sector.
How to apply?
