FAQ Energy Efficiency Programme for Entrepreneurs
The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) published the criteria for the new Energy Efficiency Programme for Entrepreneurs, so that entrepreneurs can prepare their projects and documentation before the programme becomes operational at the beginning of 2026.

This financial instrument will finance financially sustainable investments contributing to energy savings through the increase in energy efficiency in manufacturing industries and in the commercial and service sectors (tourism and trade), thus enabling the achievement of equal or higher levels of production or services with lower energy consumption. The Programme also encourages the reduction of the share of conventional (fossil) fuels in total energy consumption by introducing renewable energy resources (RER).
